Nikisha “Nickie” Odom has been licensed since 2009. She has worked in most facets of this industry, from booth rent and owning her own spa, to teaching in both accredited and non-accredited cosmetology schools. Nickie has an insatiable curiosity for learning and a passion for sharing her knowledge. She is an energetic, yet direct, instructor that thrives on student participation and interaction in a classroom setting. She loves teaching theory and strives to ensure her students understand the information. She believes we only “fail forward”, mistakes teach us more than perfection ever could. She is also a Brazilian waxing specialist. The past 10 years, she has dedicated to developing her waxing knowledge, speed and precision. She is excited to share her knowledge to her students and help prepare them for a successful aesthetics car
